Here at Putnam Plastics, we have a stellar wellness program led by our on-site Wellness Coordinator, Sara Gustavesen. This fall, a flu and COVID clinic was set-up right here at our facility. Not only were flu shots and COVID vaccines made easily available for all employees, but a pharmacist was there to answer any questions or concerns they may have. It doesn't get much easier than that to help protect yourself, your family and community!

This past year, Putnam Plastics teamed up with Bryant University’s International Business program. The goal of this project was to help support student experiential learning. Involvement in this program enabled us to partner with a Bryant student consulting team consisting of senior year BSIB students. Led by Bryant University faculty, and coordinated and managed by staff from John H. Chafee Center for International Business, students researched and formulated a targeted business practicum capstone course project.

Putnam is a proud sponsor of the United Services of Connecticut's 11th Annual Particle Accelerator: A Day of Music and Hope held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 on Main Street in downtown Putnam. This is a FREE, all day music festival that features 20 bands playing music of all genres and for all ages. This event begins at noon and will continue until 9 p.m.

This event's goal is "to raise funds and awareness to support Mental Health First Aid Training, a United Services public education initiative that helps the public identify people in the midst of a mental health crisis more readily and get them the resources and professional help they need before they harm themselves or others."
